Next Step..pre recording

Okay, so I promised to keep letting you hear these songs as they progressed. This is “Mercury in the Water” which I played for you in a previous post. The original version was a simple recording the day I wrote it with Sarah Majors.

This is the next step before we actually record it for the new record. I made a demo in the studio today to try and shape it up a little so the band will have an idea of the direction the song is heading.

Next step, the real thing! Let me know what you think.

    I loved it! The first time I heard it I was not so much into it as I was this time. Great lyrics. Cursing the Ohio is still my favorite but I really like this too. Thanks for sharing.
