An Experiment…kinda

I want to start sharing with you some new songs as they begin forming. I’ll be doing a new record with Ray Wylie Hubbard this year and want to let you hear these in their infant guitar/vocal forms.

Some will make it, others won’t, but it’ll give you a laugh, perhaps offend or maybe you can help us vote on the best ones for the record.

Stay tuned, I’ll be posting more

Hey Matt-4 wonderful songs!!! easily worth the wait. My favorite of the 4 is “Apples and Orphans” , but I do love me some “Junkman”. All the songs have your definite way with words, and the slide on junkman is superb. Hope you can see your way to Amarillo soon!

Every song that comes your mouth is music to my soul. I can listen to your music over and over again. Being from the mountains here deep in Tennessee I can relate to every song you write. I was daughter of a farmer , preacher and a coal miner…and i lived up in a holler !!! You paint these amazing scenes of a day gone by …. Wether its “haunting” or catching up on “paybacks a bitch” time. Thank you for your music !! God has blessed you with this amazing talent and that TALENT blesses us …..which will return and bless you !!! I am your biggest fan !! If you are ever out this way.. Allow me to share the mountain i was raised on with you , on a four wheeler. Little bit of mud never hurt nobody ¡¿¡¡ love ya !! Pay attention to my email … Come to Tennessee !!!!!!!!!!
